Mid cycle bloods

It's funny even with a failed cycle is till need to go in for my bloods. 

I had my mid cycle blood yesterday. But what I found very interesting is they aren't much different to my last mid cycle blood levels. Im not on any booster shots so I found that to be very interesting. 

Results for yesterday:

It's a fail!

It's officially a failed cycle. We need to do the trigger shot tomorrow night to ensure the two follicles i do have don't form into cysts. My levels aren't great and it's not looking good at all. But they did say by some miracle the left ovary might pick up the egg from the right in the form of some magical fairy unicorn dust.

But looks like cycle number 3 might be the magic number. 

Well this just sucks!

Today was my ultrasound. It really didn't go as planned. It showed 2 folicles in my right and none on my left!!!!

I may have dropped the f bomb during my scan. The sonographer was understanding. but, I feel like a failure. 

My bloods haven't improved much either.

So it's another blood test tomorrow in the morning. So we will see how that plays out. 

I knew the first cycle of two big folicles on either side was too good to be true.

Feeling pretty shitty tonight. Wine is in order.

Sleepless -

In a few hours time I have my blood test and ultrasound. 

I am pretty sure I am due to ovulate tonight and therefore I'll be taking my trigger shot Ovidrel  tonight. 

It's amazing that exactly 1 week ago I started my period and now I'm about to ovulate. It just seems so early!  

No wonder why all these years of timing and ovulation home kits etc never worked because I was always doing it at the wrong time. 

I must ask the sonographer about this. About how early I'm ovulating and how my Adenomyosis is going. Last time she could see the flare up which was interesting. 

Tonight I can't sleep. I'm bloated and have too much on my mind. - my father in law had two mini strokes. I'm worried about him and I'm worried about WJ.  So me worried means me not sleeping. 

Which then leads me into me looking at online recipes and shopping! 

So today is a big day. Let's see how it goes. 

Mid cycle bloods

I had my ongoing bloods this morning. 

I'm cycle day 6 and I've already been booked in for my ultrasound and blood for Monday. I seem to ovulate very early, but it would make sense as my cycles are on average 25 days. 

So my results for today are:

Thankfully work is understanding with all these late starts. I've been very open and honest with my boss. I think that's the only way to go. I would hate to do this behind his back and him think I was being slack. I've worked too hard to get a bad reputation now. I refuse to let my work suffer. 

So here's to Monday lets hope these little follicles are growing nicely. 

Round 2

Ding ding ding!!!!

Today is now officially day 2. 

Yesterday I went in for my pregnancy test and I told the nurse that there was no point that I was on day 1 and wanted to go right into a new cycle. 

As it turns out my bloods were at baseline and I can start my gonal-f today. 

I'm back on 37.5 and I responded pretty well with that by getting two mature follicles - one on either side. 

The most important one is the left ovary as my right tube is blocked. 

So let's keep our heads held high and go on for this next round. I think people are quite surprised how well I'm taking this. Failure is easy to deal with when your use to it.

I really can't even get to my blood test to find out. But there was no denying it this morning! 

Analogy away.....

This morning a had a little spotting. I'm due for my pregnancy blood test on Monday morning at the clinic to see if our first round of OI actually worked.

Seeing this spotting this morning was of no surprise. Why would this time be any different from any other time?

Why would it actually work 1st time around?

I actually just wish that one time in one cycle in all of these years that I would actually be able to get to blood test day and not have a period already surprise me.

I was talking to WJ on the phone this morning  - he always has a way of making me laugh. He used the analogy of

"This is like buying a lotto ticket. You find out no one won, even before you had the chance to check your numbers!"

So then it turned into a little game - how many analogies could be possibly come up with...

1. getting your period before the blood test.
2. knowing lotto results before checking your numbers.
3. knowing the game score before watching the game.
4.    i cant remember the rest......

so we will see. Ill wait for Monday - but i am loosing hope.

Final booster shot.

I'm officially 1 week away from finding out if I'm pregnant. 

I'm not trying to think about it. But ever little tingle. Every little unusual feeling in my belly makes me think of this could be it. 

I know the drugs do give you symptoms but I really hope this is it. 

1 week. 1 week to go. 

Mid phase bloods

This morning I had my Luteal phase blood work. 

It's been a great week. Work has been hectic but I've still kept up my exercise regime. It really does make you feel amazing. 

I've switched to decaf coffee and drinks and I've cut out all of my afternoon wines and gin. It hasn't been too bad I've  just been drinking decaf ice tea which is very refreshing. 

So my blood results are

I have one more booster shot on Monday and a blood test Monday morning. I'm not sure what that one is for.

The 3 B's

First day of autumn. First booster shot

I took my first booster shot today and now I'm off to my Xtend Barre class all before 6am not bad!

Working out has become a huge part of my life and I feel confident that when I do get pregnant that I will be able to keep up with it. 

The ladies at my Xtend barre studio have a huge amount of experience and alter the routin for women who are pregnant and they even do pregnancy Pilates. 

I would love to do one of those session!!

So here's to the booster shot (I'm going to bruise with this one) grow little one grow!!
